I am not a fan of abortion, but I do not want to outlaw it either. And, yes... sometimes that means abortion for convenience can/will happen. That is a moral choice between the mother and their deity.
I do expect women and men to be responsible. If you are an adult, and a pregnancy happens, that is on you. Which is why rape/incest is typically an exception to abortion bans. The pregnant woman is not in any way responsible for it. (Assumes she is not the instigator of the incest.)
There are very, very, very few times an abortion is required to save a woman's life. It would be like saying you need to open carry in Miami because the polar bear might escape from the zoo. Non-starter in my book. However, it does happen, so exception.
The big one is "life" means lifestyle. An argument against overturning Roe v. Wade was made by an Only Fans "actress" who did "creampie" videos. (Do not look it up. It is not really cream, and there is no pie involved.) This poor woman could not take the pill because of allergies, and was going to lose her source of income without abortion. Sorry, but using abortion as birth control is exactly the reason why it should not be legal. Or, at the bare minimum, not funded by the public in any way.
