President Trump won both the Electoral and Popular Vote. That's significant.

We fought for this and control of both the Senate and House. Now it's time to lead.

One wonders if this spells the end of the anti-constitutional attempted "compact" among a bunch of states to give their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner.

As I type this, the Repubs won both the presidency and have a majority in the Senate; the House is still open and looking close albeit with a small R majority.

Usually I am something of a fan of gridlock, aka the "Don't just do something, stand there!" version of "first, do no harm." In this case, however, there are some things that really need to get done, so I will hope for a three-fer.
