Typical D thought process and all too often that of the Rs regarding the poor, downtrodden, misunderstood with guns and grenades in their hands.
And for as long as I can remember the Ds kick, bite, and gouge in the ring, but for some reason the almost constant approach from the Rs is turn the other cheek, milk and honey, and Queensbury rules. Funny how that seems so often to result in the Rs being flattened in the political ring.
He doesn't even have to follow through. Just say that he thinks it's a great idea, the best idea, that nobody would expand SCOTUS as well as he would ... and then sit back and let the Dems' knee-jerk reaction to hate and condemn ANYTHING he says is a good idea run its course.*
And then we would have HOURS of soundbytes to use against them the next time they talk about expanding SCOTUS.**
I used to warn people, when you set your policy positions as "I stand against everything that guy supports," you're letting "that guy" set YOUR agenda for you.
Since the Left has gone "guano-crazy" with TDS, I no longer issue that warning. I just sit quietly with my popcorn and enjoy the show. :D

* - Seriously, master-level troll that he is, Trump should do stuff like this more often.
** - No, really. Conservatives all over should be doing this. Just mention that "Trump said [prior Dem proposal] is a good idea," hit record on your phone, and let them react. Trump doesn't even have to really have said anything; using the "Trump said" phrase should be enough of a trigger to get a reaction.
Think of it as a version of "Simon Says"; the magic phrase is "Trump Said" and the correct response is "freak out and condemn". The only difference is, the players don't realize they're in a game, or even that there IS a game. LOL!

As a follow-up, if Trump were to start saying these things with no intent to follow through -- again, master-level troll that he is -- he could then take it one step further: publicly state that he's not going to do it "in the spirit of bipartisanship, after hearing the concerns from his colleagues from across the aisle".
This does three things for him:
- It shows that he's the reasonable adult in the room who LISTENS to both sides instead of immediately vetoing ideas based on who's talking.
- It shows how unhinged his opponents are without resorting to slinging mud.
- Most importantly, it keeps his opponents focused on reacting to what he's saying while he quietly enacts his agenda in the background.
Never let lilly-livered criticism affect your decisions. We are in a fight to protect this country and anyone who will not follow the law, who will pervert the law to their own purposes, should be the recipient of an all expenses paid vacation in Club Fed. The left and their ilk have had more than enough time to destroy this country. Now is the time for patriot to enforce the Constitution and the laws and take this country back.
The law means what it says. The Constitution is written in plain English. Every government official has to swear an oath to the Constitution. Not an oath to obey the courts, or to get their interpretation first. So that oath implies each person must separately make an honest judgment when acting about the Constitutionality of that action.
It's fair to dispute whether a particular administrative action got this right. But Constitutionally speaking it clearly is absurd to complain about not getting prior permission; that isn't any more valid than requiring prior permission before printing a newspaper article, or before buying a gun.
I seem to recall the invasion was declared as such and violent illegals declared terrorists. 230 gr 45 caliber to C1 and mass burial is more efficient and cost effective. Let them choke on their pearl strings.
If Bukele is taking our Tren de Aragua turds, I guess that we owe him a solid.

Trump should propose increasing the Supreme Court. I can just see the D’s heads exploding!
...and now I'm imagining the scene from Kingsmen. :-)

** That's wonderfully nasty! I'm gonna do it and watch the heads explode. The SCOTUS expansion is brilliant. Let the propaganda be flung! Thanks!
You're very welcome! Please share your results!

I'm in favor of expelling these vermin — from the helicopter, at 500 feet over hungry sharks.
It's the environmentally friendly thing to do.
Backhoes are more cost efficient.
Sharks need to eat, too.
Although ... Would this be considered feeding them junk food?
There's always the Morbark, make the green grass grow. Should be able to schedule them in with the pedos.
There is a tradition with helicopters, and I believe in preserving our cherished traditions.

Are they really concerned about the rule of law?
Or are they just trying to stop Trump?
Yeah... we all know what the honest answer is.

Well said!! Linking it tomorrow @https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/
Interesting site.
Thank you.
Those fucking treasonous Judges and those funding the pro-invasion NGOs also need to be extradited to El Salvador.
Our tradition only by way CIA sponsorship of Pinochet. A C-47 would be more efficient and if you could find a Megalodon that would help.
Amen!!
