For me, it's also about the behavior when they were in power. Remember the Obama elections, where you couldn't disagree with a policy (or heaven forbid point out the man's lack of substance on his resume) without being labeled an evil racist hater? And scolded about how we should accept the results of an election with good grace etc?

Well, the shoe is on the other foot now, as the saying goes. Perhaps when the Left starts exhibiting a degree of civility and good grace I would consider it. But not while they're acting like poorly raised, spoiled brats.

There have been several times in my life where the wussy R's won office and then decided to be gracious, bipartisan, not vindictive, etc. and so forth. Gave victory speeches that sounded like concession speeches. Literally took a mandate and flushed it down the toilet so they could go back to business as usual.

And then the D's win and it's scorched earth. Every time.

Yeah. Absolutely. Shut the tent door and start prepping the salt and fire, cause after scorched earth we need to salt the ground so nothing ever grows back. Fuck them all.

I agree!! They need to be treated the same way they treated us! All that shit they did to Trump should be returned 100 % Their agenda should be permanently destroyed.

I do so hope that the man who wrote a book with a chapter entitled “Revenge” does in fact prosecute - not persecute as was done to him - the people that tried to destroy him and America.

I think there's enough evidence that justifiable, truly justifiable, charges could be made in many cases. And that's one of the differences.

"just don’t make a video crying about me being too mean to you. "

Oh, I dunno: might be entertaining. Or "blog fodder" (or whatever the substack equivalent might be)

The only thing the whiners want is for you to die. They believe the election was stolen from them (it wasn't) and they refuse to believe the Big Guy stole the last one (he did). All this corruption and stink goes back to the Manchurian Candidate Obama. As long as that commie and his butch wife (husband?) are around, hate will rule the Democrat roost. The Republican house needs cleaning also. Start by getting rid of the name Cheney, and any other Republican who doesn't toe the line. The party has a platform, rules, and the country has a Constitution. If someone does not believe in and conform to those rules and laws, they're not a Republican and they should get the rail, tar, and feathers.

As long as we're naming names, no more Bushes, McCains, Romneys, or other old trash laying around. Let's clean house with a vengeance.

You forgot the Clintons.

For me, a general principle has become, No political dynasties! And let's try to get rid of the concept of politician as a career. It should be more considered as a term of service to one's community and country. (And while I'm dreaming, I want a pony, and a Star Destroyer, and...)

Excellent response. The whining is one thing and could be considered normal, no matter which side you’re on. But all of this incessant crying is out and out silly. If it’s so damn bad, go someplace else and try some of that stuff. Like Brittany Griner, you’ll be begging to come back.

And always be careful to note that the "bipartisanship" only runs one way...
