these sorts of “arguments” are whats wrong with todays gun culture…. its full of trolls and yuge-ego-tiny-gun maroons. I was yakkin with a dealer at a gun show about Rock Island 1911s. this fat full of himself sneers “its a $400 1911”.. and I replied- yes, its a $400 1911 that goes BANG every fukkin time.. I had a Bianchi iwb holster for 1911s from 1986 to 2018. leather. now I run a We the People iwb kydex. it works, for ME. run what works for YOU.
While I have quite a few Kydex holsters I personally prefer leather. My S&W’s normally ride in my leather holster from Just in Case Holster’s! I am a firm believer in being comfortable!
The thing about leather holsters, made by skilled holster makers, is that they are shaped specifically to fit one model gun. Plastic holsters are generic fit-nothing devices. They sort of hold a gun of the right size range, with some approximation of security. Can you find a plastic holster that will pass the upside down shake test? I wonder. But I'm confident my leather holster will hold the Boberg that goes into it. And yes, I found a holster maker that offers holsters for Boberg. (Not many do but some.)

Any chance you have a source of magazines for the .45s?
