Imagine caring what Europeans think. The value of their opinion is right below that of our so-called elite. They’ve signaled their virtue through unlimited mass invasion, now let them reap what they’ve sown.
A DOGE in Europe would find a far more fertile ground for discovering stuff than here, hard though it may be to believe.
As for defending themselves: the countries formerly occupied by the USSR understand that. The rest of Europe really hasn't for over a century. For example, the last time France had reasonably functional armed forces was the War of 1870. The last time Holland did was either never, or way back in the late 1500s.
