It is bad enough when Democrats on their own keep trying to curtail our rights, but it downright pisses me off when people in “our side” keep giving them ammunition to get bills like this passed.

One man, who didn’t want to share his name, said he spent Monday morning taping up his broken window after spending the night at the Courtyard Marriott on Conference Center Boulevard.The man said he was visiting from East Tennessee when he woke up to find dozens of broken windows.
“I just walked out, was getting ready for school and noticed glass everywhere,” the man said. “(I) walked over and my window was broken.
When the man looked inside, he immediately knew what was missing.
“A pair of boots and a firearm were stolen,” the man said.

Murfreesboro police said the group stole five guns, random belongings and two cars. Officers later found those two cars wrecked and left running near the hotels.

Why aren’t you able to bring your frigging firearm with you inside the hotel? PewPew too heavy for you to carry all the way to the room? Then leave the darn thing home because sure as shit you are not using it for self-defense.
Am I blaming the victim? You bet your sweet ass I am. We know we can be targets at any time and we are supposed to be prepared for it. If we allegedly follow Farnham Rules of Stupid, how come we keep violating the last one? Do Not Do Stupid Things. Yet we keep seeing gun owners leaving guns for the criminals like they were doing their own imbecile version of Operation Fast and Furious in retail.
Stop being an ATF agent and secure your frigging firearms. Do not be a gun provider for the criminal element or a reason Anti Gunners get bold enough to propose more Gun Control legislation.
Why do people keep doing stupid things? Because people are frequently mentally lazy, which inevitably results in them doing stupid things.
when I became an 07 FFL holder I soon realized the “gun culture “ is chock full of huge egos and tiny “guns”… the stupid is chest deep and climbing. its immensely frustrating when others handle firearms like an empty cigarette pack… and they refuse to listen to ANY suggestions..
