So, I did a stupid.

Tried to cut an apple with a crappy knife and ended up slicing the base of my left pinkie

Wife was not amused. Quick trip to the ER and ended with 5 stitches.

I texted the family and almost immediately regretted it. My grand nephew’s birthday was a few weeks back and since he reached his teens, I gave him a Swiss Army Knife including a small box of and some basic instructions on how to be safe.

The little joker told his dad that he was going to be giving me a safety class on knives.

I will return to posting in the morning… probably when the local anesthesia wears off and I wake up screaming like a wuss.
