Mistreating our long-time trading partners
Partners implies an equally beneficial agreement between the parties. We have not had that in a long time which is why the tariffs are reciprocal and not just punitive.
To paraphrase Gunnery Seargent Hartman, our "trading partners" are the kind that would f*** a person in the ass and not even have the goddam common courtesy to give him a reach-around.
Hell of it is this has been going on for decades, through multiple administrations, Democrat and Republicans. I'm not a fan of Trumps personality, but I do like the fact that he lays his balls on the table and dares the other side to do the same.
