I do a bit of driving for work and that sort of allows me to get a feeking on how people are and feel.
Maybe because this is ny first Presidential election in the Volunteer State and I have no previoous ones to compare it too, but there is an almost absence of energy compared to the elections I went through in South Florida.
Other than the ocassional front lawn sign, you cannot tell that we are heading into a decisive voting conflagration. Maybe because Tenneessee, according to the expert pollers, is going about 70-30 for Trump and any effort is better spent in the so-called “battleground states” that trying to create a fighting athmosphere here. I don’t know what to tell you, but I do hope we don’t wake up the day after wondering WTF happened (or didn’t) and ended up in the wrong side of the color palette.
I hope I am just being my unusuak paranoid. You guys do not forget to vote.
Missouri is hopeless for the Democrats but the two big blue strongholds are busy bees and seem to hope somehow to save the day. It would take a stone cold miracle to accomplish it though. Other than a sudden proliferation of really tiny Harris signs of every description I haven’t seen printed material re: the federal election; I don’t watch TV so I have no idea what’s going on there.
As a resident of a Blue state I have the same but opposite vibe. Here in upstate NY my vote won’t matter so there’s no point in competing for it. My CONgressional critter will be running unopposed, and the local races are the only ones getting little attention. I bet folks is PA are enjoying their moment in the spotlight though.
