Spent January in Palm Beach County. Wife and I were admiring some colorful iggys when an elderly passerby complained to her companion about the “invasive species” taking over, and how they should be exterminated. I turned to my wife and said “what an odd thing for a NY Jew to say in South Florida.”
(Full disclosure: wife and I are both Jewish on both sides as far back as we can trace - only about 3 generations to be sure.)
