I was sent a picture showing what appears to be a bullet hole in his suit just about 6" below his right armpit, and about 3" forward of what would be the mid line of that armpit. Hard to tell from the picture.
If so, he may have been spared by the bullet proof vest he was wearing.

I saw the same. Looked like a hole to me but I haven't seen any confirmation.
