Not to be too insensitive regarding a certain assassination attempt, but perhaps we should encourage all agents to shoot for the bad folks' ears. Non-lethal, ya know. Not sure what the allowable margin of error should be.

I'll bet he thinks they are trained to shoot the gun out of the bad guy's hand. Another Hollywood educated bureaucrat.

Why was he running away? LEO's are authorized to use force necessary to maintain the public order.

Well he was disabled from running after all.

Does this mean that handguns can now be considered non-lethal options? Oh my.

Just based on the comment, I'm thinking hard Leftist; always finding ways to criticize LEOs for doing their job correctly.

If so, remember that a Leftist's god is the Almighty State, politicians are its holy clergy, and government officials are its divinely-empowered acolytes. He probably DOES think they are -- or should be -- supremely capable life forms.

Obviously another "just shoot them in the leg" blowhard.

So he clearly knows "how" to disable someone from running, too, yes?

Step up to the firing line and prove it, bad boy. If it's so simple, you make that shot, WITHOUT endangering the public with a mag dump in the suspect's general direction.
