As I mentioned before, for me it's not just - or even mostly - the NFA aspects of the B3 gutting that trouble me. Not that I don't care, but on the national stage there are bigger issues.
And once again, the Republicans let a Democrat derail what the country needs. There will likely be no consequences, personally or professionally, individually or as a party, for either the Dems pulling their usual crap, or for the Repubs for allowing it.
Apparently there are ways this could have been headed off or otherwise addressed ... But the Repub senate "leadership" in fact preemptively surrendered to whatever the Parliamentarian decided to do. It's infuriating.
