This immigration case is still doing the rounds in Nashville, but NewsChannel 5 added a new layer of… well.. you decide.

Here is the funny part: other stations have not reported the location of her arrest with the exception of one station indication it was outside a gym. Prior to this particular article, nobody even knew there was a kid involved in the mix because probably there was not.

But wait, there is more. In the response from DHS to the Habeas Corpus of Ms. Rodriguez, the location of the arrest is clearly mentioned.

As far as we know, the daughter may have been dropped at school bus stop prior to the arrest or otherwise we would have seen the headlines go something along the lines of “Poor mother kidnapped by ICE was ripped off the arms of her young child during her taking” or some other exciting B.S.

I get the feeling that her case is not going as well as their fellow “journalists” wanted and there was an imperative need to create a heart-tugging narrative. I also find strange that although The Tennessee Star managed to find the Federal response to the Habeas Corpus (go ahead and give it a read) , no other Mews Media outlet seems to have done the same or even mention what has been found.
