They are shocked that Federal government said stupid shit about Pretti. Really? After all four decades’s worth of verbalized historic opposition somehow you think they got smarter overnight?
And Pretti violated two important set of rules for Carrying a Concealed Weapon:
1) Avoidance, De-escalation and Deterrence.
2) John S. Farnam’s Rules of Stupid.
Does that mean we are boot-licking peasants? Nope, because I would have applied the same principle if Pretti had decided to crash a Crips’ drug corner and pick a fight with the stash man; that does not make me pro-gang or pro-drug Cartel.
Through many years we have discussed cases of good shootings and bad shootings and never once batted an eye when a gun owner went and did stupid that got him killed or ended up wearing an orange jumpsuit.
This vein of discussion was not started not steered by Second Amendment advocates but by people in the Left that want to 1) plant division among the ranks, and 2) wants somebody do an even bigger stupid and actually kill Law Enforcement to make the news, brownie points if it is somebody from “our side.”
And soon enough I will have to address the political side of this thing and I know this is going to piss off a ton of people.
