There was a mass shooting incident in Las Cruces, NM. This is the way it was reported initially:

When you read “car show” your brain elicits the image of rows of glistening vehicles parked at a location and where car enthusiast and their families gather to walk around admiring the offerings. But the image started to get tarnished when it was told that the shooting happened at 10 pm which is way late for any regular car show to be still active and that the victims and the shooters were teenagers.

So, the headlines changed:

Again, it tries to elicit an image, this time of picnics interrupted, but it does not last long again because who the heck goes to a park at night to enjoy a basket of sandwiches and drink cold sodas?

But when video starts to show up in Social Media, once again the headlines have to change once again, now we have ‘unsanctioned car show’.

By now we kinda figure what really was and those who did not, only had to go to X and check available video: A street takeover.

And there was even a photo of the alleged shooters, but since no arrest have been made at the time of this writing, I shall pass on sharing it till confirmation is made.

And, of course, once the BS was out, the Faux Outrage Clan comes out to play the same old songs: MOAR GUN CONTROL!
