"What did you say, dear?"

The Missus has been giving me all kinds of crap for a while now because the hearing in the right ear at the human voice rage has deteriorated... a lot.
I will admit that my resistance to get a hearing aid is 95% vanity (and the other 5% is ear of losing the damned thing) but I am resigning to the fact that I either get one or have her shove an ice pick in my ear canal.
In case you you did not know, Costco offers hearing aids and they have what I guess is an audiologist or some sort of hearing professional at location and I was walking buy and at least came to the decission which brand I will be buying.

As a former Recording Engineer, I have no choice but go with Sennheiser. I still should have a pair of K 240 headphones somewhere and they were majestic-sounding. Their 441 mikes were exceptional and if you are a fan of Stevie Nicks, you have seen her belting her songs back in the day with that mike.

I still do not like the idea of the hearing aid, but if I have to go grumpy old man, might as well go Sennheiser.

PS: I don’t believe Neumann has hearing aids, but if they do, they will be ultra expensive and you will be able to hear a ghost farting in Alaska.
