Some enterprising people has come up with this “product”:
If I look out the window to my non-mowed yard (has been raining too much to take care of it) I can see about half the pretty weeds in the photo growing wild.
And for free.
But apparently, if you can collect them and bag them, you can charge stupid prices.
This is supposed to be done for the plight of the bees and butterflies and that may sell to the Yankees and Californians who moved here and have backyards the area of two lawn chairs and a gas grill and heavily treated because they want to “live with nature.” Those of us who every week scream “how the fuck the damned lawn is that tall again? I just mowed it 3 days ago! And look at all those effing wildflowers!” (Sneezes in high pollen count)
And I understand that Monarch butterfly thing. In fact, I like the pretty winged things, and I just got me a couple of packs of Milkweed seeds that will be planted in assorted pots and placed under several windows around the house in the hope we get to see them critters when we look out.
But I am already fighting a war against moles, voles and very likely a gopher which are ruining my lawn, I don’t need “wilding” it which provides them food and concealment.

Hah!! If this product becomes mainstream it will beat "parking" for number one agenda slot at HOAs across the country.
