This is a very good video overall. The stats are a bit off since he is relying on the Venezuelan Government honesty (stop laughing) when in reality Venezuela is probably still #2 in murders worldwide behind Honduras.

There is a mention of the Ley de Armas y Explosivos of 1939 which was indeed constricting, but what it is not mentioned is a very devious detail which is that any firearm in the country belongs to the Government’s arsenal even if you bought it. This is still applied in the new laws, and it is just simply an automatic confiscation whenever the government feels you need to be disarmed even if previously you actually filled all the proper paperwork and paid all fees and bribes.
