This is what going stupid looks like.

Other than The Mandalorian (liked it) and The Book of Boba Fett (semi-meh) I have pretty much ignored the Star Wars universe post the 3 initial original movies as most of them were just trying to leech out money of the initial storyline. And the stuff I heard from the true fans leads me to believe I was not that far off in my assessment.

But this commentary is rich. Out of all the shitty “creations” that came out of the Disney Star Wars cesspool, The Acolyte has been criticized by the fans as the equivalent of the petrified turd found at the bottom of the broken septic tank.

That the author demands to have a fix for the problem. And the problem is not that the writing and thus the show sucked but that it did not generate a return and got cancelled (Evil Capitalism!) but that even because it was a monetray loss, it should be allowed to continue in its sucking because the problem is the system and. of course, the viewers.

So in order to solve “the problem” we coud go the BBC add a tax on owning TVs to fund new shows like “Star Wars: TransLesbian Jedi Avocado Farmers of Endor” and a myriad of shitty shows just like in the British Isles. Or maybe make a subscription to Disney+ mandatory under penalty of jail and automatically included in your Internet and/or phone bill.

Just because Disney does not produce stuff people like, does not mean you should stop giving them support. Where do you think you live? In Free Society or something?
