For this one, I am going to place myself “outside” of my beloved American Citizenship to wave some harsh ideas.
When it comes to 21st Century Liberal immigration, Americans are still believing in a model expired in the 20th Century. The melting pot became a divided cafeteria tray which well-defined and unmixable items are contained but do not amalgamate. There is the firm idea that immigrants, regardless of their origin and culture, will immediately shed whatever old nasty customs and beliefs they have and fully absorb the American Way of living and respect for others. At worst, they will need just a touch of proper cultural and political indoctrination that will be instantly stopped if there is a feeling we are intruding in their ancient customs because we don’t want to insult them.
Groups of immigrants are now allowed and even brought to this country without almost any scrutiny, given monies and help and then taken to towns that are so alien to their original culture, language and even weather that the instinctive reaction is to create their own isolated system with as little interaction as possible with the “outside” world. Balkanization is being created by either design or stupidity or both and the forecast is not a hopeful one.
And yes, the immigrants of old also gathered at certain locations and to this day, you can still find these places with reminders of that old collective. But there is a great difference: they were also ports of departure to other locations in the country. You could remain in New York’s Little Italy or take off to Montana and open the first trattoria in Bozeman bringing the whole family with you. Same if you arrived to Hialeah, walked about Calle Ocho in Miami, but eventually moved to New Orleans or other states in the South. Same as the Anglos that had roots in the East but moved Westward in the 19th Century, the same was done by those immigrants of old that departed from Plymouth Rock and went South.
And what that movement, that migration came the true mixing of cultures and adaptation to the American culture. The great unifier was the Constitution and the laws that tried to give everybody the same set of rules of behavior. Not that it was perfect or evenly applied, but it was claimed and demanded by all.
And when the next generation was born, it was taught in the new ways of the adopting country. The language had to be English, and many households eschewed their native tongue to make sure the progeny spoke it properly and only then they were allowed to speak in the old ways. Hyphenism was an insult, you wanted to be an American, not a sociological subsection according to some intellectual’s snotty view of humanity.
But what we are seeing is an encapsulation of a group of people, with its own distinctive ways as if they were living in a self-imposed dome cultural dome with little interaction or regard with the rest of the country. They are their own nation based on what they know and experienced with no desire to change things. And why should they? It is easier to stick to what they know and lived rather than begin from almost zero which requires a lot of work plus they are given benefits the local have to work for. There is no incentive for integration, so it is easy to revert to the known ways even if they are incompatible to the host country.
Now comes part two of the American Immigratory Naivete: The dogma that “All or most immigrants and good people incapable of doing bad things or letting them happen.” It is a dangerous belief that immigrants, once they taste the American Way, will discharge al past experiences and culture and adopt the Stars and Stripes Way of Life. It is hard to describe how deeply programmed are the minds of people who lived most of their life in a culture rife with not only violence, but cruel violence. That violent living imparts a fear and a way to do things that is absolutely foreign for the Amercian mind to understand. Couple that with either a distinctive distrust for Law Enforcement or total lack of respect when compared to the cops they have survived back where they come from, and the first instinct in case of trouble will be side with whatever criminal enterprise is associated with their background. No matter what Black Lives Matter and the other Race Baiters say, US Law Enforcement is too polite and seen as weak by immigrants. You see videos of people being arrested and resisting or simply just verbally abusing cops without consequences, and those born and raised in other countries laugh at their gentle treatment knowing that where we come from, one single word or attitude will immediately result in a fractured skull or a bullet to the back of the head. And no, I am not exaggerating, I have seen cops beat people to a pulp for simply asking “why?” and get away with it. So, when it comes to choose between Local LEOs or homestyle gang, guess who they will side with.
I want to return to cruelty. U.S. Media has gone out of their way to not offend sensibilities of the average household, gives warning of events they are going to show even though they are so blurred in post-production that you cannot see a darn thing and leaves it to a less than fertile imagination, mostly under-fueled by Hollywood, to fill the blanks and it is mostly left antiseptically non-descriptive, odorless and quiet. Immigrants saw (and some participated) in violent acts that go beyond what the average American can process.
Let me give you a couple of examples on how the minds differ: If you go to the tool garden section of a Lowe’s or Home Depot, you will see shovels, picks, machetes, hoes and assorted tools with specific purposes all focused on making growing flowers, fruit and produce easier for you. Immigrants have seen the same tools used to massacre fellow human beings and like in the case of Rwanda, a genocide that took over half a million human beings. Go to your garden shed or the next time you go to a store, pick up a hoe and try to imagine yourself using it to snuff out a life. It is not a clean “humane” kill, it will require several blows to a live human who will probably be loudly begging for his life. You will be splattered with blood and other substances spraying from the body till it finally ceases to move and expires. Now imagine that scenario repeated hundreds of thousands of times. Now think about not only about those who did it but those who watched it unimpeded and are living among us and consider that mass murdering “normal.”
Another image for you: An old tire conjures the idea of a tree swing for most of Americans. Find a length of rope, a sturdy branch and you will end up with children’s laughter and a fine afternoon of enjoyment. But for many others outside the U.S. an old tire is a painful execution tool when slid around somebody, splashed with a bit of kerosene or plain old gasoline and set on fire. You will hear screaming, but also the crackling sounds and smells of human skin, flesh and rubber combined. If there is rope present, it will be used to drag the still living body around to show. And people will stare, some may wonder what this that guy do to deserve the “necklacing” as it is called. Some won’t even bother to wonder at all since they have seen it before and will see it again.
And I almost forgot a “less” shocking but lately a popular/viral item: Cats and other pets being eaten by immigrants. The Intelligentsia and supporting fools in the Media and other political lackeys went into a hissy fit denouncing the story as a vile lie perpetrated by disgustingly racist people who want to win the upcoming election. You may have or have not noticed that Hispanics were strangely quiet (AOC maybe not, but she is a moron anyway) and that is because a very old Spanish Saying: “Meter gato por liebre” which mean To pass a cat as a hare. A skinned cat with its head and tail removed is very similar to a skinned rabbit with its head removed. For centuries, unscrupulous butchers in Europe and then the Americas would sell unsuspecting customers processed feral cats for tasty expensive rabbits. Very few if any ever found out the difference which is why my dear mother told me never to buy a decapitated rabbit because the head and specially teeth would let you know if you were getting Bugs Bunny or Sylvester. But would people eat cats knowingly? Yes, war-torn countries where famine sets would see the feline population disappear because it was easier to capture cats than raise rabbits. And there are places where cats exist, rabbits do not and people like the protein.
So, eating cats, by accident or because some people find them tasty and free is not a far-fetched derogatory story told by Right Wing Nazis, but a very old true account that is unpalatable to the American mindset because they spend billions treating the furry things like part of the family.
To be continued.

Thanks for that start to my day. Glad you were able to escape!
