NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A handful of local organizations rallied Saturday against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
It comes amid a surge in people being taken into federal custody nationwide.
The Indigenous People Coalition organized the demonstration.
“An assault on them is an assault on all,” Alber Bender said on the behalf of the organization. “The movement of indigenous people across the so-called borders should not be criminalized.”

You have to admit it is a novel idea, full of shit and directed to the people who don’t read history. Also a bit racist.
We do know that “indigenous people” were nomadic, but even so, they were very protective of their spaces. One tribe traipsing on the space of a rival tribe would end with a haircut and assorted injuries and death. And even if you try to identify Mexican and other Central Americans as “indigenous people” I don’t seem to recall reding anywhere Tennessee a land where the Aztec or Mayans were local to the Tennessee Valley or the Smoky Mountains. I believe the Cherokee, Chickasaw, and Shawnee would have expressed their disagreement violently.
But as I stated before, that is also a very racist position. There are other people from South America that are not “indigenous people” and the same for Chinese and Middle easterners coming illegally and thus, not acceptable to these coalition.
And then this:
What does that even mean? Borders created during the Colony? Or is it whatever designation you don’t like because of “reasons” known only to these “activists”?
And from the article:
“It’s instilled a lot of fear to a lot of people who are undocumented,
That is the point.
even people who are documented, who are American citizens,” Buer reflected.
No, not really.
”If you are a person of color, you don’t even know if you are safe walking to your car anymore.”
Probably that has more to do with violent crime than being detained by ICE.
Oh well, the unfunny clown show must go on, I guess.
"Colonial borders are fake". So borders drawn up after wars are ok? Or by UN Resolution (Israel cough cough)?
If they move across a border they're no longer indigenous, that only counts if they stay home. For values of indigenous of course, as many are actually from somewhere else back in time. The no borders thing is globalist clap trap.
Some people are not happy unless they are upset about something.
Some people aren't happy without a "cause" - no matter how righteous (or not) it is.
As for being a "racist" or "colonizer" I don't care any more, but thank you for letting me know to not take your position seriously.
