exactly. there are some “content creators “ claiming it might have been a “bad shoot”… Im way past sick and tired of this manufactured outrage and distraction. its the crisis of the day hype and panic.

It's too early to say "good shoot" or "bad shoot"; it could have been either. Some of the released video doesn't look good. But either way, the investigation isn't done so there's a LOT of information and perspective (important for reasonableness) that we just don't yet have. It's too early to call it either way.

Agree on the FAFO but I don't see any "we" in the internal war that I'm part of. Everybody talking CW2 but IMO it's buzzards and jackals (two groups of "them") arguing over who gets to eat the carcass (we). Looks more and more like two sides shooting at the middle trying to get the middle to do something so they can smash it.

They've already said what they'll do to us, repeated, for years. We should believe them and act accordingly.

In any other circumstances, I'd call what happened a very questionable shoot. But under the circumstances where it actually happened, he got what he fucking deserved.

Matthew Bracken wrote a short story on this exact topic: "Raoul X".

I have a guy at work that is all convinced Petti is an innocent victim. He is well within his rights to carry, and to protest, and everything else the left is using to convince us ICE was in the wrong.

.

Now, I do not know whether ICE was in the wrong, if it was a good shoot, or an ICE agent murdering someone. Time will tell on that front.

.

What I do know, beyond any reasonable doubt is if you are carrying a firearm, and you are interacting with law enforcement officers of any kind, you DO NOT escalate the situation. You do not pull your firearm, or even expose it in any way. If you have to, you tell the LEOs you are carrying and follow their lead.

.

What Petti did was stupid on so many levels, his "rights" are meaningless at this point. He essentially walked into a crowded theater and yelled "FIRE!" And, now everyone is claiming he has 1st Amendment protections for doing so. It is a stupid argument, and it does nothing but confuse the issue.

I read you for the one word. Kamikaze. Almost perfect, except I don't know if they believed 100% they would. die. And what does that tell you about their leaders.

I found a YouTube content provider that, I believe, wants to shed light, rather than generate heat on this subject.

Nobody credibly asserts that Pretti didn't have the right to carry his pistol to a volatile protest; Kash Patel and Kristi Noem are not credible on this one. #sorrynotsorry

Heck, you can bet your bottom dollar that if I had to be operating in that area (not for the protest, but for some other personal or professional reason that happens to be in the same area), I'd sure as hell be legally carrying a concealed sidearm with as many magazines as I have for it. And as long as I'm carrying extra mags, you can bet they're probably loaded; they'd be pretty useless otherwise.

(Srsly, all the "shock" about "LOADED gun!" and "LOADED magazines!", as if that's not just how guns work. Sheesh.)

What we're arguing about is the wisdom of carrying to a volatile "protest" (which I would be, so I don't see that as a problem in itself) AND -- very important conjunction, AND -- getting physically involved in a pre-existing scuffle between ICE and another "protester".

It's Tannerite. One or the other -- legally carrying OR getting into a physical scuffle with FLEAs -- in all likelihood wouldn't have been fatal. Not wise, but not fatal. But both together? Kaboom.
