Sorry, but that dog would have been double tapped as fast as I could draw. I have been bitten by angry dogs three times and I have no desire to repeat the damn experience again.
And as for the health of the “owners” after I am done with the dog? It would behoove them to either expedite their retreat as fast as possible to another zip code of throw themselves at the mercy of arriving LEOs because I would be a smidge upset about being attacked with the intent of grievous harm and having to kill a dog who did not know better.
PS: Be sure to save the head of the animal so the health authorities can check for rabies.
and if charges are pursued, odds are good that dog's going to get put down because the owners are retarded.
They're also going to get hit w/ a slew of additional charges since they came back in, assaulted the shop workers, the customers, and sic'ced the dog on them.
