Second that! I avoid crowds whenever possible... that and high prices. And I grew up when going was under $1. There was a news reel, a cartoon and a feature. My last visit was about a decade ago.
For a movie like Project Hail Mary, it was worth the trip and hassle as it is visually impressive. Then again we went middle of the week, first showing which meant an almost empty theater. And she took me to lunch after :)
