Re-evaluating EDC items.
As I get older, I had felt the need to simplify my life and that is not including what I carry every day. I have been carrying a Sabre OC 1.5 fl oz can for years now alongside with a Surefire Nitrolon G2 light. Both are superb items, but I want to reduce the bulk as both go in the same pocket and they are starting to annoy my increasingly grouchy self.
So, what I will probably do is downsize the OC to a Sabre 0.67 oz canister of either gel or spray/CS/Dye, undecided which till I see videos of the spray in action in the hope it is more a stream than anything else.
As for carry lights, I am going flat. The probable choice will be the Fenix E06R Pro 1600 or the Streamlight 88813 Wedge XT because they are the affordable solutions compared to the Surefire Stiletto. Yes, I am cheap like that.
I know the spray and the lights have had good reviews, but give me your thoughts or options on this.

I have the EDC29, great light. Bright? OMG, like a searchlight at max. Two button control, superb for ED and tactical. Have not had to "blind" anyone yet. Plenty of runtime.
FWIW, I've been quite happy with a Nitecore EDC23 EDC Flashlight. Flat, good light pattern and output, multiple light levels up to 2500 lumen, and a couple of interlocks so it's never inadvertently turned on in my pocket. (Yet, of course...) As a gadget junkie I also like that it has a little screen that gives me an estimated run time for the light output it's delivering.
Rechargeable only. Which could be a plus or minus depending on your way of looking at things. For me it's a plus, especially for the one that lives in my travel kit.
