But PETA has never had the smarts, especially when it comes to milk. Years ago, they started a campaign in the elementary schools of Miami-Dade County, and they had either someone with high school Spanish or Google Translate come up with “throw away the milk” in the tongue of Cervantes. Unfortunately, “Echa la Leche” is slang for ejaculation which kind of riled up the Latino parents in South Florida and PETA had to enact a hasty retreat and a crapload of apologies.
