Here I am trying to maintain an image of grumpiness and Oleg Volk catches me in a moment of weakness with a smile on my face.
I do need to trim the beard just a bit on the sides.

Eh, beard is fine.
When I was naturalized, members of the local VFW came to the event and gave out American flags. I still have it almost 40 years later and take it out on all the holidays. It's a very well made one, and I was delighted by the gift and the message implied by it.
