OK, make up your mind.
Is it about all rights or only some of them?
Murfreesboro, TN – A week away--next Saturday (10/18/2025) Murfreesboro Indivisible supporters will gather from 2:00 until 4:00 that afternoon for the second second nationwide No Kings Day of Action. The group will rally on the public sidewalk between Mimi’s Café and Chili’s at The Avenue on Medical Center Parkway.
Susan Myers-Shirk, who leads Murfreesboro Indivisible, emphasized the inclusive nature of the event. “We welcome everyone who loves America and believes in peaceful protest,” she said. “This is about standing up for our rights, not about political parties. We’ve worked closely with Murfreesboro Police to ensure a safe and respectful environment.”
She encourages participants to bring signs and props that reflect the rally’s theme, keeping messages family-friendly and focused on unity. The group asks attendees to avoid bringing weapons of any kind, even those legally permitted, and to help maintain a peaceful atmosphere. Parking is available in The Avenue lot, and the rally will not obstruct traffic or business access.
No Kings Day of Action Returns to The Avenue Oct. 18 with Peaceful Protest
Standing up for “our” rights, but the people's Right To Keep And Bear Arms gives them the cooties just like it would to any member of the royalty if the peasants were armed.
National partners include the ACLU, MoveOn, SEIU, and others reportedly united under the banner of peaceful resistance to authoritarianism.
Hell if anything, what they stand for is reason enough why you should have guns and a lot of loaded magazines.

On the rare occasions I happen to drive by these protests on random street corners out here in the ‘burbs I’m struck by the older age of these protesters and that they appear to have nothing better to do. As a geezer in training I’ve always thought of myself as a Gen-Xer rather than a late boomer. These dopes need to learn some history. Of course that won’t happen.
Why not protest today? There's plenty to tighten up good Progressive Socialist undies and rattle their cages. Its Columbus Day!
Why there's lots of folks who have a paid holiday (don't know why, I rarely did), the Socialist Engineering Laboratories (schools) are not in session, and there's Federal Bureaucracy Minions out of work (another reason to protest). So today would be the best day for the Unproductive Class to air their grievances in public, further annoying those of us who support them.
