"Nashville Father" I've seen this movie.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Department of Homeland Security is defending the arrest of a man by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in South Nashville while he was on his way to work — but the agency’s account conflicts with what his family told NewsChannel5.
Nashville father detained by ICE; DHS responds, family stands by account
This is another sob story about how evil ICE is because even when you are perfectly legal, you can be detained and deported. But if you take the time to read and happen to have a bit of inside knowledge, you realize something stinks.
I am going to quote some excerpts of the article and within you will see some passages in bold lettering you should keep in mind.
Video taken on February 17 shows ICE agents surrounding Juan Martin Espindola Ramirez’s work vehicle on Nolensville Pike.
In their statement, DHS says that during the encounter, “Espindola-Ramirez did NOT present any form of a driver license.”
But both Espindola Ramirez and his wife, U.S. citizen Juana Bautista, dispute that claim. Bautista sent NewsChannel5 a copy of his Real ID driver’s license, showing it was issued in December 2024 and does not expire until January 2027.
Next, the U visa.
Records show Espindola Ramirez first applied for a U visa on September 17, 2017, during President Donald Trump's first term. A 2022 letter from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services confirms the agency found his petition met requirements and granted him work authorization and deferred action while he waited for the visa.
On a previous article, they made it sound like he had been granted the U visa which is a temporary visa for victims of certain crimes who have suffered substantial mental or physical abuse and are helpful to U.S. law enforcement in investigating or prosecuting criminal activity. But the letter they present says the visa could not be granted because the cap had been reached, but a Temporary Work Permit could be issued while the process continued. Now the questions remains if the U Visa was ever issued and how long was the work permit for. They do not answer that.
And next:
Espindola Ramirez says he later applied for his green card and says lawyers told him he would receive it in 2026.
And the lawyers said:
A lawyer at Ozment Law said the firm could not give specific information about any particular client but said, “We had a number of consultations in which similar facts have been true, we are concerned that warrant-less arrests without probable cause are increasing and the fact that immigrants hold a valid work permit is not taken into consideration.”
Ladies and Gentlemen, as one who applied for a Permanent Resident Visa (AKA Green Card) I find highly suspicious that the the people that could not wait to shove into the cameras a copy of the license and letter about a petition for U visa by Homeland Security suddenly did not have one single inch of paperwork for a Green Card application. If you go through Form I-485, Instructions for Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status you see the boatload of stuff you need to present alongside the form and most everything will give you dates and names to confirm you applied for a Green Card or are at least in the process. But what we got was a “pinky promise we did apply” and a non-committal response from the lawyers. which makes me think (I might be wrong) that the visa was never applied for or a detrimental item was found or something went bad during the process of application like missing an appointment with the immigration authorities which is a big effing no-no and gives you an automatic rejection and deportation unless you prove major mother-runting force majure cause signed and stamped by the Lord himself.
I believe that in another week or two, News Channel 5 won’t even acknowledge the existence of Espindola Ramirez.

again during obammys rien when illegals got deported the libtards were silent with their “compassion”.
I wonder if libtards would feel compassion toward a criminal who broke into their home and harmed family members….. only if the criminal was an illegal???? interesting how “christians” luv to twist the Bible to suit their views and “feelings”….
if you don’t want to be arrested, obey ALL laws and you won’t be ….
Don't feed the trolls, even the allegedly religious ones.
