NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Five teens had to be hospitalized after getting extremely high while in custody at juvenile court, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

On April 16, police said the five teens got hold of a vape pen possibly filled with marijuana and had to be taken to a hospital, where they were treated for nausea and vomiting.

Police and the Department Children Services and Youth Services are investigating the incident to find out how the vape pen got into the juvenile court jail portion.

After the teens were released from the hospital, they were taken back to jail.

I have an idea how the vape pen was inserted in jail, and I probably also left a bad taste in their mouths plus was the real reason they had to go to the hospital.
