FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - Shooting guns has been part of Kristopher Boshers’ history since he got his first gun at five years old. Hunting and training with his grandfather are among his favorite memories.
Since then, the Franklin, Tennessee man has become an avid sports shooter, collecting various guns, including the Sig Sauer P320. According to the manufacturer, millions of that make and model have been sold nationwide, becoming a favorite in the military and police agencies.
Boshers even kept the P320 in his concealed carry vest. That’s where it was secured on May 3, 2023, when he was climbing out of his car at a Franklin gas station.
“As I’m going to stand up, I’ve got my arm on the door to pull myself out, and my arm right here,” Boshers motions to show that he used two hands to climb out of the low-riding car. “As I’m about halfway up, I almost didn’t hear it, but I did. The gun went off. At this point, I realize what’s happened: I’ve been shot.”

Now, if you go to the link and watch the video, you will see this image and hear some interesting words.
“Two years ago with a pistol like this one in the pocket of his concealed carry vest…”
You would figure by now even the dumbest of media outlets would factcheck everything in a report, including the frigging images!
There is one long-standing maxim in our culture: When it comes to guns, you never trust cops or a journalists. Are there exceptions? Yes, but I can count them with the fingers of one hand and probably have enough fingers free to play the piano.
And yes, I have questions about pocket carry the gun in a vest. But that would be for the lawyers to clarify.
Look on the bright side. They at least didn't use an image of an AK. Hell, they probably deserve a medal for not posting that one because it would have come first in the alphabetical index.
I'm surprised they didn't blame Trump....
