It went as well as you imagine
"Hope is not a strategy"
San Francisco city leaders joined community members on the front steps of City Hall on Thursday to announce a 24-hour violence ceasefire beginning Friday.
The event was promoted as a citywide, anti-gun and anti-violence effort under the theme “Silence Is Violence” and 24 hours of nonviolence.
The focus is not only on reducing shootings and other violent incidents but also on raising awareness about possible solutions.

So how did it go? SFPD provides a database of the calls they get and I managed to choose certain crimes of violence, specifically the following:
And here were the results:
And just to keep it short, I selected gun calls since that was the original idea/wishful thinking of the community leaders.
Yeah, it did not go as planned. Maybe they need more defunding the police and more “restorative justice’ and cashless bail to reduce crime of violence. But they have to wish it harder so it works this time.

.

So the San Francisco "leaders" who pushed this crap moonlight as Iranian negotiators.
“raising awareness “ is a liberal touchy-feely buzzword that makes liberals feel good without actually having to DO something…
“hope” is also the same . you can sit around and “hope”, or you can get the fack up and DO something about it..
