It was not a School Shooting
It was a Church Shooting, but saying “school” gets more clicks.
Catholics tend to have a church and a school together. It has been like that for a very long time, a couple of millennia would be my guess. But here in the US, the Conference of Catholic Bishops has the power of “legally” separate the church edifice from the school and thus allow parishioners to go to Mass properly protected if they choose to do so. I believe that the Conference of Catholic Bishops actually refuses to do this because they are notoriously anti-gun and falsely believe it will make them safe.
That got disproven badly.
I knew eventually the arrogance bill would come due which is why I have chosen not to attend Mass at my only local Catholic Church/School. I could have used a visit or two sometimes to attend Mass, but I do know the Good Lord did not make me a fool, I avoid to be around a populated gathering of targets and I refuse to be one by mandate.
That is all for now.

That 'mandate' is based on a false belief that victimhood brings martyrdom. Even Roman Catholocism allows for self-defense against unjust aggression.
I believe states have the ability to permit self defense in schools; if they refuse to do that it's on the local politicians.
