So a section of the Mexican population seems to be disgusted with the idea that gringos are settling in their land and “gentrifying” real state out of their incomes because it is apparently cheaper for John Smith to live South of the Border than in L.A.

What is hilarious is that they are marching in what is one of the oldest richest neighborhoods in the city and unaffordable to them even before the evil invader gringos decided to buy/rent property there. The area was not being gentrified because it was already out of their economic level populated by the local Richie Riches which makes this just 100% bullcrap worry about the downtrodden middle class.
Simply put, it is just another episode of “We can’t fix our own shit so we blame the gringos as excuse” political soap opera.
I fully support the Mexicans asking for strict immigration policies, so long as they take back all of the illegals that entered the USA through their country, agree to a 98% tariff on international money transfers to their country from the USA, and accept strict standards (including English language proficiency) for commercial truck drivers who are Mexican nationals entering the USA.
