I have seen musical panhandlers before, but I have to say a sousaphone is a first.
“Join the school band” he said “There is a bright future playing brass instruments.”

My first musical instrument was the trumpet. And no, there are not very many opportunities for it outside of school, not even in ska bands - they usually prefer an ensemble of trombone and saxophones for their sound.
But it's arguably more common to see a street musician playing trumpet than sousaphone.
