Our dog loves water going up (e.g. lawn sprinklers) but hates water coming down (e.g. getting rained on).

A friend has a Portuguese water dog who has to be crated when said friend takes a shower; otherwise the dog demands to be right in there with him. (He goes through more shower curtains than anyone I know.)
