Before you make the jump to the progressive, I'd recommend looking at the Lee Classic Turret Press. You can remove the auto-index rod and use it as a single stage press without all the die swapping or use the auto index rod and you complete a cartridge with 4 pulls of the handle. I use an older progressive for 9mm only because changing cartridge setups is more than I want to mess with, and use the turret for 38/357, 45acp and .223 with auto index and 30-30, 30-06, and 35 Rem without the index rod. I can load almost as fast with the turret but it does have the downside of 4 pulls per cartridge instead of one.
I have an older Lee turret press. It doesn’t have any auto features. it takes 3 hole turrets. I can do 100 rounds an hour easy. I like it. I also have a Dillion xl750. I got it during the covid insanity when gubmint was throwing money at us… I only load 2 calibers on it. I can do 300-400 rounds an hour with. manual case feed and manual primer tube reload. I found the turret press at a yard sale.
