Apparently some talking head on MSNBC tried to say it might be "celebratory gunfire". Obviously he's thinking of towelheaded terrorists; US conservative gun owners don't do such things.

Too late. When am I not angry?

IF the “switch “ gets flipped its not gonna be pretty….. for them. we ALL want to be left alone, however IF we aren’t we wont hide.

PK: Right after Kirk made a statement against violence someone in the crowd said "Great!" and Kirk was immediately shot with what was probably a suppressed firearm. "Celebratory Gunfire" my wrinkled old butt.

The latest is he was shot from 200 yards away -

I think it was not an amateur shot

It usually takes more than a week for stable facts to come out with these things. I feel like the guy in Broken Arrow, "I don't know what disturbs me most about this (lost nukes). The fact that it happened. Or the fact that it happens often enough that we have a name for it."

Amateur could include a LOT of hunters. I know of a bunch of people who are quite comfortable harvesting from 200 yards or more. Granted, they much prefer a closer shot, but...

.

And... if you are thinking this is some kind of trained assassin, I tend to doubt that. I suspect the shooter wanted to get a solid head shot, but did not properly account for ballistic bullet drop, and hit Charlie in the neck instead.

If you think you're mad now, just wait until they start trying to blame conservative gun owners.

Can't - I don't have an X account and something tells me this is not the ideal time to start one...

The left keeps striking flint with steel and throwing sparks towards a gunpowder trail to a keg of powder. One day, perhaps much sooner than later, one spark will ignite the powder train, and lead to full-on, no-holds-barred, kill them all and let god sort them out civil war. There will be no front lines, there will be no quarter. It will only be stopped by what the left fears most – martial law. Everywhere else will be a 3rd world free-fire zone like the Balkan conflict

72-hour Rule - Charlie Kirk - byIan, 10Sep2025

https://thelawdogfiles.substack.com/p/72-hour-rule

...72-Hour Rule, folks. Nothing that comes out in the first 48 to 72 hours should be taken at face value...Speaking of, please keep in mind that the Internet is forever, and the things you type into social media at the height of your dudgeon can come back to haunt you later down the road. In the same vein, do try to remember that those friends you’ve never actually met on the Internet may not have your best interests at heart when they’re egging you on to run your cake-hole; and the people in the comments may have ulterior motives.

As I said, I am done being polite.

Should I be nice and allow them to shoot me because I am Hispanic traitor?

Fuck them.

I am angry.

Very angry.

.

But... anger, and action do not need to happen together. Right now, there are a lot of leftists that are just waiting for someone on the right to blow up. They are itching for it. We of rational minds, cannot give them what they want.

.

On the other hand, a lot of people on the left are very much aware that a Rubicon has been crossed today. And, the next few days will be very telling. Are they looking forward to a hot war, or do they realize this was too much?

.

Vine of Liberty reminds us to keep our heads on a swivel. I am taking that advice, and until we know what the left wants to do about this, I am breathing deep, remaining calm, and making sure my powder is dry.

Charlie Kirk was the moderate option.

Last evening's "The Five" (on Fox News, their 5 pm commentary program) had Jessie Watters saying the closest I have heard on major TV to "they want us dead". Those were not the exact words he used, but the sentiment amounted to that.

The reason Scalise, Trump and now Charlie were shot is because they don't know our names....yet. Prepare accordingly.

On a side note, bring on more evil, awful tariffs. And, sprinkle a generous portion of supply chain panic on top while they're at it. Every hair on fire panic push to buy drops ammo prices 5 cents a round. I saw Fiocchi .223 rounds for .39 delivered this week. The lowest I've seen in 5 years.
