…but this C.E.O. killer thing keeps stinking even more.
The McDonald's worker said they saw Mangione around 9.15am 'acting suspiciously' in the restaurant, adding that he appeared to have fraudulent documents.
Mangione was then arrested with five charges at the scene, as officers found he was in possession of fake IDs, a 'ghost' gun, silencer, clothes, and a mask matching the one that the suspected shooter was captured wearing.
Bizarre reason why McDonald's worker might not receive $60,000 reward for identifying Luigi Mangione
I know I haven’t been at McDonalds in ages, but since when they ask you for ID to buy a burger.? And he had not even changed clothes in 5 days?
Sorry, I know that people like LawDog says criminals are really dumb and even dumber, but this amount of idiot is just spectacular.
What "documents" did the McDonald's worker believe might be fake? And what reason a McDonald's worker have to inspect a customer's "documents"? And finally, what qualifies him/her to make that judgment call?
Even if the worker moonlights as a bartender and can spot a fake I.D., McDonald's doesn't serve alcohol so there's zero reason to check a patron's driver's license or other I.D. And that assumes it was a driver's license or other state I.D., and not some other "document" they flagged as fake.
Every new report about this guy makes less sense than the last.
How would a fast food worker get a good enough glimpse at this guys documents to think they were fake?
Was he actually forging them at the table?
And, what does this guy need fake docs for in the first place? Home assembled pistol (or so we are told) means no background check, no need for ID.
Perhaps there are good reasons for it, but I am suspicious.
