Tariffs have been a great big stick because even to the staunchest of Socialist/Communists, being punched hard in the wallet hurts. And rather than raise the tariff again against China, simply choking a flow of products that come straight from Mainland CCP adds a couple of clicks in the ratchet. And here is the funny thing: Liberal chicks bitching about their interrupted shopping are usually oppose and complain about corporations who happen to be the gateways to Chinese merchandise. Ebay is one who is owned by the likes of Blackrock and Vanguard Group and the other outlet for these ChiCom items is Jeff Bezos’ and the super shareholders of Amazon.
