I shall be taking a weekend off and attending the 9th Annual East TN Blogshoot, the weekend of October 11 in Oak Ridge. Hopefully I will get to finally meet people I have been interacting with digitally for years, do some shooting, lots of talking and just a much-needed rest.

This is when guys start behaving like girls about to go on an important date and start thinking on what to bring to shoot. So far, I am thinking PCC again and the Missus AR9 if nothing but for portability.

I need to remove my South Florida Travel software. We haven’t done a lot of sightseeing because we are still thinking the way we did in Miami: “Everything is probably 6 hours away!” and the Google informs me Oak Ridge is just 2.5 hours from homebase which is so doable is not even funny. Atlanta is only 3.5 hours so that means I can seriously consider going to the NRAAM next year.

And no, I am not getting an RV and start prowling the roads. I am not that kind of old fart.
