"The judge overseeing the divorce recently wrote that his 'isolation, drinking, and a lack of participation in family life are manifestations of what seems to be a sense of fatalism and hopelessness.'" - I don't understand how a judge's determination that a defendant is in this state didn't trigger a ban on owning a handgun. Setting aside the schadenfreude, as a purely legal thing, how did this NOT result in a wellness visit and confiscation?

Being black put him in a protected class.

Dollar to a doughnut he never took a training class, either. Never learned techniques or safety, and never learned responsibility. He simply "owned" a gun via stolen children's money. Those children are now left to no parents and a legacy they will never forget. I think THAT is the most unfortunate aspect of his actions. I hope they have some very supportive family and friends.

Once again the mantra "Every accusation is a confession" rings true.

They push gun control because they know what 'they' would do w/ a gun.

And their children were home. Their son found the mother and had to call the police. So heartbreaking.

I agree. What sort of loathsome venal scum would do that to it's children?

If you cannot see any alternative to ending it, go somewhere remote, where your children will not find you.

I hope The Almighty provides him with the eternity he deserves.

Schadenfreude squared. Those kids must be devastated. Once again, a judge in VA failed to do the right thing.

And the anti-gun wankers are using this as a another reason for more gun control that does not work.
