Gun Control Necromancy.
Some old and worn out Gun Control idiots trying to capitalize on the Mexico shindig.
That both idiots originate from Broward County, FL is not surprising. And it is also not surprising that they are trying to resuscitate a talking point that went nowhere a many years ago when introduced by the previous useless gun control idiots of Brady and Company.
And if you also bring the catastrophe of Operation Fast and Furious, you would be right. The sad part is that even after that colossal and deadly Federal fuck up, we keep hearing tales of dealers being ignored or by ATF to go ahead and allow suspicions transaction to even shadier individual so they “can track them.”
And I wish there was a full trace of the cartel guns recovered, but I know it won’t happen and the reason is no Fed wants to explain how come the AR-15 used to kill a Mexican soldier was part of the batch reported by a FFL who wanted to stop the sale and ATF said to approve it. Or that that rifle came out of a theft from a train that was barely investigated and promptly ignored because there was a more interesting and Media-Palatable case on taking down and shooting some white dude who worked in a regional airport for selling and trading a few Glocks at gun shows.
And by the way, my weapons were at home and behaving nicely while the shit went down in Mexico. Amazing how that happens, right? But David thinks they were somewhat to blame for him having Mexican landscapers to take care of his lawn.

it was said during “fast and stupid” that most cartels were armed with full auto AK47s purchased from soldiers in the mexican army for a whopping $75. on average… the question was pay $400 plus from American gun dealers for semiautomatic AK or $75 for a REAL one. ..
look at some old nra magazine articles from the 70s- same old tired bullshiite.. its about control. not gun control..
Or the were made by a US company, sold to a (nominally) legitimate customer like the Mexican government, and then passed on to the cartels by the people who were supposed to be the end users (e.g. military, police).
