The small rural Canadian township of Emo (population 1,333) is being ordered by the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal to pay damages after failing to proclaim Pride Month as instructed back in 2020.
CBC News reports Borderland Pride tasked Emo with the job of declaring June as Pride Month and ordered municipal authorities to fly an “LGBTQ2 rainbow flag for a week of your choosing” despite the fact they lack an official flagpole.
Borderland Pride also asked Emo to “email us a copy of your proclamation or resolution once adopted and signed.”
I will say that, hopefully the lack of uproar from Canadians is directly related to the lack of presentation by the media and not because they simply gave up and are resigning themselves to take it up the colonic as long as a mild amount of lubrication is provided.
But in case that indeed Canadians are accepting being manipulated into this kind of political S&JM, we should be willing to orient out deranged northbound and attaching a criminal illegal Venezuelan with them.
May I humbly suggest that the town of Emo invest in a flag pole, and next June, fly the Jolly Roger.

No matter the form of government: democracy, republic, monarchy, oligarchy, theocracy, socialist, communist, capitalist… what the People allow the government to do in their name, determines what kind of country they are. Whether they are a country that has individual freedom, liberty, and individual rights protected by the government, or if those people are controlled by the government and meted privileges, instead of guaranteed rights - will show what they are, what they have allowed themselves and their children to become.
