Just remember that freedom of speech is an American invention, basically non-existent in the other countries of the world. Sure, some of them may claim there is a constitution that offers such a guarantee, but it probably comes with exclusions and weaselwords, and it may not be enforced in any case.
My favorite example is the constitution of the Netherlands, which speaks of the right to free speech "subject to everyone's responsibility under the law". I see that as a synonym for "void where prohibited". And in any case, its article 120 specifically declares that no court has authority to judge the constitutionality of any law or treaty. In other words, the constitution itself is meaningless because it can't be enforced by anyone.
At least the Brits are honest enough not to bother with a constitution at all, so there aren't any false pretenses.
