Everything Old Communism is New Again.
Oh please, pretty please. I implore you leave the US and go live in the great Chinese Paradise where everything is free or very very cheap and you have a living wage and all.
But just for fun, I would ask you to read one book about the last time a Communist Country advertised to US citizens how wonderful life was under Socialism and they moved to “live the dream”.
Of the tens of thousands that moved to the USSR during the Depression, only a handful survived and even fewer managed to return to the US.
You are free to ignore the warning and do what experts call “trash taking itself out.”

“Democracy” has become the new pseudonym of “progressivism”, which is the misnomer of “socialism”, “Marxism”, and “Leninism”. It is, in reality “statism” : concentration of economic controls and planning in the hands of a highly centralized government often extending to government ownership of industry.
I suppose when you are too embarrassed by your own ideology, you’ll call it anything to obfuscate what it truly is. Recall this, the next time you encounter the phrase “our democracy”, or the claim of being “progressive”.
