I know he probably think the Bible is a dorky useless book and the Tower of Babel is just a story, and such he fails to understand the concept of people’s unity through one common language.
The first time I read a translated version of the U.S. Constitution in Spanish was decades ago during the Clinton administration. I forget what specific department or entity issued it, but it had several creative editions including “mistranslated” parts of the Bill of Rights, Second Amendment included. I don’t have to paint you a nice drawing about it, right?
People grown and raised on Google Translator and that truly does not speak a language, does understand how a culture influences language and how there are things and concepts that it simply will not translate. How can you explain things like inherent rights to people who were raised through generations that there is no such thing but only privileges doled by the government and every way to communicate it simply does not exist in the native language? It is like trying to explain the color mauve to a person born blind.
It takes me an inordinate amount of time to explain to Spanish Speakers the essence of the Second Amendment and it is not till that person becomes proficient in the language because they have been immersed in the culture, that the message finally gets home. It is also very telling that a group of “leaders” bend over backwards to make sure immigrants do not learn English or bother to be part of the culture and community. Balkanization is a very effective method of mass control; it is easier to move a smaller mass of people to the goals you want and have them part of the chain reaction.
So, in summary, Speak ‘Murican and be independent or be a puppet of those “who have your best interest at heart” and want to use you as fodder.
PS: Cole Airlines is still around after weeks announcing his departure from the evil Book of Faces. Must be equipment problems.
Funny how most other countries do not cater to immigrants in this manner. But, in the USA it is some kind of horrific crime against humanity if we do not provide everything in every language known to man.
Perhaps that poster should master English before posting in it. There is perhaps one sentence (or "sentence") that might have passed muster from my high school writing teacher.
