If there is an imminent danger, stop interfering with your guy! She grabs both arms, gets in the middle, does not take a hint when she pushes her away from the line of danger and once he is engaged, she again interferes with the action. You’d think she is in cahoots with the attacker, but that dumb bastard did not take the opportunity to attack when his arms were being blocked.
I sort of understand the whole concept of “not getting into trouble” but your actions are like the United Nations Peace Keeping Forces: In the name of peace, you will fuck things up, get somebody maimed or killed and then you get to say “that was not my intention.”
If you are not directly contributing to the cessation of the danger, be useful and watch his back, make sure nobody comes from behind. And having a weapon of your own helps plenty.
